Retro

Over the years, many fashion styles has appeared but mom's overalls or grandma chiffon scarf never seems out of date.
I feel that the retro style is very hard to carry out and one must have the charms to do so.
With this theme in mind, I designed two different outfits with this theme in mind.
The similarities of these two outfits that both are high waisted, emphasizing on the slenderness of the waist and lengthening the legs.
They are also designed with comfort in mind. Hence, the designs are very flown and make of material like chiffon etc to accentuate this feel.
Design 1: classical working style good for  a day in town or at work

While I was designing the shirt , the commonly seen sheer white chiffon shirt was on my mind. It helps give the modern feel to this retro outfit. A statement necklace is also needed to make the outfit more suitable for work and shopping.

Mid waist skirts has slowly been coming back to trend. A ribbon tied on the waist give it a European feel . The color scheme of this outfit should be pastel. I purposely designed two layers for this skirt to give it a more elegant look.

Classic court shoes helps end this fun yet professional look.
Bandana is a must when talking about a retro look. The color schemes for this outfit can either be bright cheery colors like yellow or dark colors like royal blue or black, depending on your occasion, a day out as a tourist  or just walking around the beach.
This kind of collars are common for retro outfits while the gauze is very popular for women nowadays.
The high waisted top help balance the huge  retro pants at the bottom , enhancing the comfort and the flowy effect of the pants.
Popular in the olden days
A pair of stilettos to finish off for a perfect day shopping at the countryside or tourists spots!
